It’s formed by the Houay Champee River and flows year-round, making it a great destination in any season—especially during the rainy months when the water volume is higher. The name “Pha Suam” means “room cliff,” inspired by the shape of the surrounding rock.
Ban Nong Bueng Woodcarving Village
Ban Nong Bueng Woodcarving Village is a hidden gem in southern Laos, just 40 km south of Pakse. Renowned for its traditional wood and stone carvings crafted by the Ta Oy ethnic group, the village offers a unique cultural experience. Visitors can watch artisans at work, explore handmade sculptures and souvenirs, and gain insight into one of Laos’ oldest art forms—all in a peaceful, authentic setting.

Ancient City (Muang Boran)
Located in Samut Prakan, just 30 minutes from the airport, this vast open-air museum showcases full-scale replicas of Thailand’s most iconic historical sites. Erawan Museum
